Join us in our celebration of 75 years of ministry

This year, 2009, will mark the 75th Anniversary year of the Wausau Bible Church. The first meeting of the Wausau Bible Church occurred on January 7, 1934 in a building at the corner of Broadway and Emerson. Many people have been used of God in this ministry during these past 75 years. The outreach of this church has literally gone around the world.

During the entire year of 2009, we would like to remember God’s gracious hand of faithfulness and blessing to this congregation. However, the dates of August 7-9, 2009, have been set aside to especially commemorate God’s faithfulness to us. We would like as many former members and attendees as possible to join us in a special celebration that weekend. It should be a wonderful time of praise, thanksgiving, reminiscing, renewing old friendships, as well as renewing a vision for the future.

The plans for the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Wausau Bible Church are nearly completed.  You are invited to join us on the weekend of August 7-9, 2009  for a time of thanksgiving, reminiscing, and praise to our Lord and Savior, for His many blessings throughout these past 75 years.

Friday - August 7

                6:00 pm - 9:00 pm      Informal gathering for early arrivals 

Saturday - August 8

                9:00 am - 4:00 pm      Registration  -  Pick up name tags, dinner tickets, historical booklets, DVDs;  purchase cookbooks;
                                                 sign up for open mic testimonies 

                10:00 am - 12:00 noon       Old Church Visit  -  Open House/Come & Go;  Van shuttle available from WBC 
                                               
                12:00 noon  -  1:00 pm       Lunch will not be provided, however snacks and refreshments will be served downstairs
                                                         in the Church

                1:00 pm - 3:00 pm    A Time to Remember  (Church Sanctuary)
